Highlights on attracting foreign investment in 2019

He said that Vietnam is working very hard to improve the business environment, and the results are reflected in the 10-step increase in competitiveness rankings. Among the competitiveness indexes, the indexes related to the trend of developing new technology and Industry 4.0, Vietnam has had a strong increase.

"Vietnam is now very open, not only open in import and export turnover, we affirm that Vietnam will continue to support all initiatives to make the world market open and facilitate the All partners compete equally ", Deputy Prime Minister affirmed.

Vietnam is currently the destination for investors from 130 economies around the world and has over 30,000 FDI projects with a total investment of over 300 billion USD. Vietnamese enterprises are now step by step joining foreign businesses to participate in the process of inventing new technologies. The Deputy Prime Minister also said that in the coming time, the Government will continue to promote the application of science and technology and wish to contribute to the business community.
